What it does

AECOprint prints a set of sheets from a single window. Pick your sheets — all sheets, a saved sheet set or a sheet list schedule — put them in order, and AECOprint writes a PDF per sheet or one combined drawing set, with DWG, DGN and DWF copies alongside if you need them. It can also send the same selection straight to a paper printer.

It's built for architects, drafters and BIM managers who issue drawings regularly and want consistent, correctly named output without fiddling with PDF printer drivers. Settings are remembered per project, can be shared as presets, and can be published as a company standard so the whole team prints the same way.

Before you start

  • Revit 2024, 2025, 2026 or 2027 with AECOtools installed. AECOprint is free — no seat needed to print.
  • Open the project you want to print. To print several models in one go, start AECOprint with no model open.
  • If you print the same set often, a sheet list schedule in the model makes a handy, repeatable print set.

Quick start

  1. With a project open, click AECOprint on the Utils panel.
  2. Choose a Sheet set, tick the sheets you want and use ▲ Up / ▼ Down to set the order.
  3. Check the File naming preview, or click … to build a naming rule visually.
  4. Pick an Output folder and tick any DWG, DGN or DWF exports you need.
  5. Choose Vector or Raster processing and review the content options.
  6. Click Print. The output folder opens when it's done, with a short summary.

Tips

Only the sheets showing in the list are printed. If a sheet seems to be missing from your output, clear the filter box and any column filters and check it's ticked.

Once you've set up naming and export options your team is happy with, save them as a preset so colleagues can load exactly the same settings.

Tick Combine into one PDF for a single drawing set — the pages follow the order in the sheet list.
